Dr. appt
I had my last doctor's appointment today. The doctor decided, with us, that it would be good to induce labor on thursday. Things are starting to progress, and she thinks the baby is getting pretty good sized so instead of waiting and waiting, like we did with Julia. We decided to have the baby before he gets huge, and I get huger! (sp?) So, thursday we go in at 6:30 in the morning and they put me on potocin and I start walking. We are excited! So, hopefully June 28th we will have a little baby boy, and we will let everyone know what we finally decided to name him then!

Missing my computer...
Sorry there haven't been any posts lately. We haven't had our computer for like two weeks...ugg. It's has been annoying! Now it's finally back (and hopefully fixed of all its problems, but I'm not holding my breath). Here's some fun pictures of Julia this summer, and of her cousins and her playing dress up.

Kiersten making sure Julia is dressed properly.

Here we have princess tinkerbell, getto princess, and half naked hula princess. They sure are expressive in their outfits!

Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday to my sweet husband, I'm totally late writing this but this is the first birthday I have blogged about so that says something. Brandon is now 27!! wow, time flys. I am very proud to be married to such a great man. He is easy going and so caring for his family. He is exactly what the Lord knew I needed.
I'm afaid even though it was Brandon's birthday, Julia seemed to take over the blowing out of the candles...and the opening of the presents. I guess that just means less work for us, too bad she can't do the clean up yet!

What is that white stuff?
So, that other morning I was cleaning up the kitchen and Julia was being so good playing by herself...so I thought. She seemed to get kind-of quiet playing and that was when I decided to check on her. I was hoping all the white stuff was just baby powder, but no it was odor eater foot powder...ick! Well, no one in our house will have stinky feet!

Working in the yard
We have lived in our house for a little over a year now, and we are learning about keeping up with a big yard. It is a lot of work! Our little yard in Hood River took about 15 minutes to mow and that was if you did a really good job, front and back. This yard takes about an hour and that is on a riding mower!! Oh, well it has been really nice to have for Julia now that we have done some stuff, as long as we maintain what's done, the yard isn't so bad. It's just that beginning of the season perk up that can be tiresome. It's a good thing I have such a great husband!
This is the cute sandbox that Brandon built, and he made me a matching planter box for my tomatoes and peppers. We also put a garden this year. We are still learning about what it takes to have garden, so if anything grows then we are happy. We don't have high expectations, that way we aren't dissapointed. Our beans are growing though, so i'm happy so far! I also planted my flowers. I didn't think I would get to it this year because of being pregnant, but it has been so nice early in May that I was able to get them planted. Now I just have to keep up on watering and fertilizing them so they grow!

36 weeks appt.
It's been forever since I blogged so we will start with my Dr. appt. I had my 36 week appointment today and all is fine. The baby hasn't dropped yet, which is kind-of a bummer, but everything looks good. Last week was kind-of miserable. I swelled like crazy!! My ankles were totally gone, which is totally ugly and you really can't hide that. I got my toes painted, but my feet were still funny looking marshmallow feet. They are back to normal now that the weather has cooled off. But don't worry, i'm sure they will swell up again! My doctor did say that there is no need for me to wait as long as we did with Julia. If you remember Julia was 9 days late! That is 41 1/2 weeks...ugg. It sounds like if we haven't delivered by the last week in June then they might induce me. We will play it all by year though, but it sure sounds nice to me. As long as I have a healthy baby, I'm happy! I might post pictures of my belly soon, I just have to remember to have Brandon take some.
