Sitting around the hotel room, they just look like trouble don't they!?!

If you look close you can see a 'cement kiss' on Coles forehead. That was definitely a bummer, i think it happened day one of course!

The shirt definitely fits the kid in it!

They had the coolest park just down the bike path from our hotel. The kids loved it!

The girls doing craft time one night. They were so cute and so good. (Brooklyn, Julia, Nevaeh, Tatum.)

Luis Palau City Fest

The kids and I meet Tiffany, Brooklyn, and London dowtown on friday to go to city fest. It is the Luis Palau festival they had on the waterfront this weekend. It was really cool once we got there. It was a little crazy getting there, and then the smart momma I am must have parked about 10 blocks away from the kids zone. Julia was a trooper and walked the whole time holding on tight! The kid zone was awesome. Julia got to meet Bob the tomatoe and Larry the cucumber, pretty exciting for a 3 year old. The girls all got to go on a bunch of bouncy things and loved it. I think they would have stayed there all day if they could have. Cole did great...well he did scream some of the way home, but really he did good, it was a long day for him. Here's just a few pictures...ok, I mean a lot of pictures!

Pictures

Brooklyn, Julia, and London loved the bouncy house! They of course had to go in the pink one!

Poor Cole got so hot sitting in the stroller. This is him having a little freedom to run!

lots of pictures

Look how tall that thing is! Julia climbed up piece of cake!!

Zucchini anyone?

Our zucchini has gotten huge!! And we don't actually like zucchini all that much so does anyone want some? Today I picked 4, and Brandon said he picked 3 others this morning. Please come take some away! I promise I will give you some good ones. Not like this one that we didn't see until it was huge!

I think it is as tall as Julia is!

This is our random sunflowers. I don't know where they came from. I know I did not buy sunflower seeds, but I thought I planted the starts. So either the seeds were mixed up in the wrong seed packet, or I'm wrong and they just grew by themselves. Strange!!

Our Garden

This is our 3rd garden we have planted and by far the best. Meaning...things are actually growing. I don't know if we actually ate much the first two years we planted gardens, but we have been eating from our garden this year! So far we have enjoyed the peas, lettuce, and zucchini. Well, let me clarify. We have been eating a lot of zucchini bread(we don't actually like zucchini all that much)! We are still waiting on our beans (we can't wait!!), carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and jalopino peppers. I don't think the corn is going to grow big enough to produce. Oh, well we will get it somewhere else. And hopefully come October we will have pumpkins. At the rate they are growing they are going to take over everything!

My one lone carrot (we had a little mishap with them). We are still going to eat it!!

Our favorite thing in the garden is always our beans.

I am watering the lettuce as I'm writting this...it is a little limp to say the least!!

You can laugh but this is what I wear in the garden. I used to wear flip flops and get filthy (duh Heidi), and I hate putting on tennis shoes in the summer so now I wear my rubber boots. My cute poka-dot rubber boots that is! I definitely am a site, with my shorts and tank top and rubber boots, but I am quite happy not to get my feet all dirty!

An explanation

So I thought I would show the culprit of the last post. This used to be a squishy ball, and it was a pig. After looking at my last post I realized that no one would actually be able to tell that thing was a pig, so the pig-headed comment didn't make much sense. For some reason after the toy broke Brandon decided to put it on his head. Julia thought it was hilarious, and wanted to be like dad. Well, then we had to try it on Cole. After lots of persuading, I gave in to peer pressure and put it on my head too. I didn't want to, but who can say no to a cute 3 year old, not me. And that is the rest of the story.
