Christmas with the Hampsons

Christmas day we got to go hang out with Brandon's Aunt and Uncle from Portland. We had so much fun just relaxing and watching Julia run around. Except for one broken candy dish she was wonderful. Over all Christmas was great this year. It was wonderful seeing all the family. We had great fun, fellowship, and amazing food!! As Julia get's older it will be neat to teach her what Christmas is really about, the birth of Jesus. And, hopefully she will be amazing at teaching her younger brother or sister someday.

I think I'm done now!

I think I'm done too!!

Christmas Eve with the Ekstroms

Christmas Eve was spent with the Ekstrom families. We went to Grace for their church service then back to my mom's for dinner and presents. Brandon and I are really lucky because my family always has celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve and Brandon's family has always celebrated it on Christmas day. We get to see all the family which is really nice, and don't have to switch off every year. We missed Grandma Hilma this year because she was in the hospital over Christmas, but she was definitly in our thoughts and prayers.

Celebrating with the Schmidts

So Saturday before Christmas Melanie came into town and we celebrated with all the girls. It was a little crazy to put it mildly, but of course fun.

This is as good as it gets for a group picture. And yes, Julia's mouth is black because she was eating something she wasn't suppose to be eating. That's my girl!

'Yes Keirsten that is a booger!'

Christmas in Bend

Christmas started in Bend this year. We went on the 16th and hung out with Brandon's sister Melanie, Grandma Rose, and most of his aunts and a lot of cousins.

Aunt Diane, Dawn, Grandma Rose, Aunt Debbie

Thank you so much Aunt Di for letting the girls hang out on your bed and watch movies!!

How gorgeouse is that view.

Technical Difficulties

So, It has been super long since I posted anything. A tiny bit of it may be laziness but the rest is because we had a little situation with our power last Wednesday. I thought we were out of all the power issues once the storm was over, but I was wrong. The short and uncomplicated version, is that we had a bunch of power flickering and that made our wash machine and our computer go out. We got the computer fixed to learn that the modem also busted. So then we had to wait for Verizon to send us a new modem. I am so tired of waiting, but finally all is well...for now! I have to take care of Julia now so I'll update lots more stuff later.
