Julia's a Big Sister!

Julia loves her new baby brother! She is excited to be with him.

Cole Robert Schmidt

Cole was born at 8:49p.m. on June 28th, 2007 at Mt. Hood Legacy Medical Center. He was 8 lbs. 14 oz. - 21.5" long - head measured 14.5" around. We made a good call to induce early, he turned out to be a good sized boy. So far Cole hasn't cried much at all, he is a perfect little baby. We are just taking it easy at the hospital today and will go home tommorow.

At The Hospital

We checked in at 6:30a.m. Here's a picture of Heidi in our room this morning. It is about 8:00p.m. now and things are just going really slow. He might not be born until the 29th! Heidi is doing good and the baby is doing good, so we are greatful for that. Please pray for continual progression and a smooth delivery. We still haven't decided for sure on a name yet either. We will keep you posted. Okay, the Doc just came in and said she fully dialated, so I gotta go! No time to upload the picture!

Zoo

So we decided to take one last trip to the zoo with Julia before the new baby comes...that and I was hoping that all that walking might bring about a baby. No such luck, but we did have lots of fun.
