Getting the Christmas tree

So I really wanted to get a tree from our 'farm' this year. Well, there wasn't exactly 'Christmas trees.' But I told Brandon I didn't care I just wanted something, and it would be free. So we picked the nastiest day to go out and get a tree. It was pouring down rain, but I wanted the experience...what was I thinking!! We ended up finding a blue spruce that was only the under stock which meant it was green. Great I thought...turns out there is a big difference in a noble and a blue spruce. Like one has soft needles and one is nasty pokey!! The spruce sat on our porch until one day Brandon brought home a beautiful pre-cut noble from the corner for $20 bucks! Seriously never trying to get a free try again, it is so not worth the pain!! Here's the day.
