We have sent out a Christmas letter and picture i think every year we have been married and here is this years.
Christmas 2009
It seems that the years are getting shorter and time goes by faster. Another Christmas season is here.
Cole is 2 and is starting to talk, some days he just doesn’t stop talking. He doesn’t know the meaning of “idle”. If you look closely in the picture you may notice his red nose. This was earned by a face plant last night at church. This year he also decided to climb in the car while Heidi was vacuuming it and check out the cigarette lighter with his finger. He definitely keeps life exciting!!
Julia is in Pre School this year at Mt. Hood Christian School. She loves her teacher and her classmates, and is always excited to go. (After we force her to get out of bed, that is) She has class 2 days a week for ½ a day. It is also a good break for Cole to get some one on one time with Heidi. It is hard to believe she will be in Kindergarten next year. She informed the other that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. We think she would be a good one; she always looks after her brother and helps him learn things.
We went to San Diego in July for Heidi’s cousin’s wedding. Julia was a flower girl and well, Cole; we got a babysitter for him. Uncle Steve went with us to Sea World one day and the rest of the time we relaxed with family. Brandon also squeezed in a Padres game with some pretty amazing seats, thanks to Jim and Shelley.
We started our own little farm and are growing a variety of trees on about 5 acres. It is plenty to keep Brandon busy on his days off. Brandon still really enjoys working on the farm and has fun learning new things all the time.
Heidi stays busy sewing things, and chasing our kids around during the day. She also is in charge of decorating for “Mom to Mom” at our church, which is a monthly event.
In April 2010 Heidi and I will be “outnumbered” with the arrival of our 3rd child. This one’s supposed to be another boy. We are excited, and so are the kids and Grandparents. God has truly blessed us with wonderful children.
God bless you and Merry Christmas,
The Schmidts
