Christmas 2007

Julia is great when she gets presents, she never cares what it is she always loves everything! Here she is loving her new 'dalmatian' car seat.

Christmas dresses are so much fun!!

Pretty much wiped out at this point!

Hanging out with Friends

We have had so much fun lately with 'kid Christmas' parties. They are definitely as much fun as adult parties!

What we have been up to...

It has been forever sense I've blogged so I'll update you on what we have been up to.

Julia and I have been baking quite a bit lately and having so much fun. She loves to stand on the chair whenever I'm cooking now, unfortunately that chair can be a hazard for me! Her's Julia making cookies.

And now eating cookies...the best part!

We tried to go to zoo lights last friday night. Julia fell asleep half way there, but we thought she still might wake up when we got there so we kept going. Well, we had to go park and be shuttled to the zoo. So we got bundled up and got on the shuttle...she still wasn't waking up. Finally, the bus pulled up the the zoo, and we saw TONS of people...I don't think I have ever seen that many people at the zoo. So we stayed on the bus and went right back to our car. Poor Julia never woke up and really don't know what she missed...long, long lines. I"m thinking next year we will go the 1st of Dec.

Christmas tree 2007

We went and got our Christmas tree last weekend. I am so glad we waited because the weather was beautiful! Here is the final product.

One of our family traditions that we have started with the kids is that every year, daddy will take them to pick out an ornament of there choosing. I'm making Brandon do it because I'm afraid I won't let them pick out 'whatever' they want. Here is what Julia picked out this year, the elephant, and oops I picked out the ducky for Cole.

Since we are somewhat potty trained, I'm afraid Julia is getting a plumber booty!

Lazy days

Yesterday, all we did was hang out and relax. Ok, maybe that has been all week! It has been hard trying to get Cole on a decent sleeping schedual so we pretty much don't get out of the house much. I am mentally adjusting to this schedual and it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Luckily, I have a wonderful husband that lets me get out of the house every once in a while in the evenings to get something done, or to just get out a of the house!! Staying home has allowed me to work hard on getting the kids down at the some time, which is so nice. I'm actually getting things done a little at a time (kind-of). Here's a picture of the kids watching a movie. Cole didn't make it that long, but Julia loved that he snuggled up to her!

Rice cereal

We have had big things happening around here. Well in relation to baby stages that is. Cole got his first tastes of rice cereal and loved it. He never even made funny faces, now he doesn't always get the swallowing down, but when he does boy does he eat (does that suprise anyone?...NO!) Cole is funny, because one day he does great eating and the next he seems to forget that he knows how. It is the same with rolling over. He has rolled over a couple of times but not consistantly, he has to just keep learning how to roll over until it totally sticks!

Thanksgiving 2007

So I have been horrible at updating. I do want to blog a bunch of stuff, but I don't know if that will happen, so we are starting with this...

These are from Seaworld. All the boys took Julia and had a blast! Us girls stayed home and cooked and watched Cole.

Julia, Mike, Steve, Alfonzo, and Ricky (Ricky and Alfonzo are our new cousins! My Aunt and Uncle recently adopted them, and we are so excited to have them in the family.)

Julia at the airport coming home, we were a little earily so she had fun calling all her friends!
