Julia and Cole's stats

So for anyone that want's to know I figured I would put Julia's 3 year old statistics on here with Cole. Some day I won't be able to share all that info but for now here goes:

Julia 31.25 lbs
36.75 inches
She was 45% for one of those and 50% for the other. I can't remember which one was which though! She is my perfect girl right in the middle!

Cole is a little different story!! Haha!!

Cole 9 months
25lbs 9oz.
29 inches
Cole is still off the chart for weight, so that means above 95 or 97% whatever that would be. He was way off the chart at 7 months though, and now we are almost on the chart! He is in the 75% for heighth, and 80% for head size. He still is are big boy, but not quite as tall as he used to be. We just love our doughboy, unless we have to carry him around for a while! Cole has been hitting some other milestones these last couple of weeks and days. He is now crawling. He has been working on that for a good couple of weeks and now he is good at it! He is starting to wave, and can pull himself up to his knees. Cole is growing up so fast! We went from wondering if he would ever move to not being able to believe how old he is getting! It all makes me ready for summer so he can hopefully walk around with us this summer! We need to learn how to put video on here so we can show everyone him crawling!

Bummer

So we had a big day yesterday. First Cole had his 9 months appointment. I'll post about that later. I had dropped Julia off at Dawn's house for Cole appointment, that way I can actually listen to what the doc it telling me! We picked Julia up and were heading home. We had just driven through Boring when CRASH! This kid was driving/sliding?!? down the middle of the road, hit the car in front of me, and was now coming at me! Once it connected that 'he is now going to hit me!' I was able to swerve to the right a little and I thought I made it without getting hit then...crash. He hit my back corner. At first I think I was mad because I'm thinking 'man, now I have to do all the insurance stuff bummer!' And yes, I had both kids in the car. Luckily we were almost stopped in the road because a semi truck was turning into a parking lot. I don't even think the kids felt anything or knew what happened. It does always amaze me how shaken up you get when you are in a car accident. I don't think my hands have ever shaken that much. In the end we (everyone in the accident) were all ok. There was 3 cars involved in the accident, and it was wild to say the least. Another good thing...we were just about across the street from CCR so I turned around and got an estimate already! Thankfully it's over, and I can still drive my car while we wait for insurance to do there thing.


Ok, this is random but cute. Julia is watching Little Einstens and she said "wait, I need my baton." She has a Little Einsten baton that she got last Christmas and just had to have it.

Easter 2008

We had a very nice Easter this year. We went to Abundant Life with the Schmidt's and the Ecternachs this year. Their service was amazing, it was so powerful. There was an imprompto baptism after the service, it was very neat to watch people's lives being changed right their. Here's pictures of the day!

Osh Kosh Sale

Ok, this is random, but there is a osh kosh warehouse sale at the old mikasa. Everything is 4.99 and accessorries are 1.99. It started today and goes until the end of the month, or until they sell out of everything.

Sick Cole

So, my poor little guy has been under the weather for the last couple of days. He has been working on getting 4 teeth in, and got a nasty cough monday night. His cold seems to be just getting worse so I finally took him to the doctor. I have called the advise nurse multiple times this week (ya, gotta love them!), and finally decided I didn't care if all they told me was he has a virus, I wanted to get him looked at. Good thing I did, Cole has double ear infections! My poor boy has been miserable and with good reason. Hopefully a little antibiotic and we will have a new man in a couple of days!!

Daylight savings

Daylight savings totally sinks!! It did not effect anyone in my family but me. Ugg, I am bored and not tired. We are getting close to what should be bed time, and I'm still not tired. I'm definitely going to be tired tomorrow though, I guarentee it!
