I'm off

So I was planning on blogging before I left for Arizona, but it's not looking like it's going to happen! I leave tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn! My mom and I are going to go see Mike and than drive his truck back home. It will be a long road trip, but fun! I am so excited for the break, and the 80 degrees beautiful weather. No more rain for a while. See ya later!!

The list

Lately I have gotten quite a few visits from...how do I say?...friendly religious people. Seriously, and they come at the worst times. I grew up way off the main road, so no one ever used to come to our house, this it totally throwing me off. I'm afraid I am bad at what to say also, and half the time I don't know what religion they actually are. One time I asked the guy...'What are you?' He explained what church he went to, but I was still confused (i can never remember what church is what, don't judge, i just can't remember!). So anyways, today I told the guy. 'You guys have been visiting me a lot lately, and I just am not interesting in your religion.' He said, "ok would you like me to put you on a list?" Heck ya! Ok, so I didn't say that but I was thinking that. I didn't know I could be on a list so they stop coming to my door. Maybe that's bad though, I should be more inviting, but honestly I'm happy. It makes me uncomfertable for someone to come to my house when I am home with my kids. So now I am on The List.

PS. Someday I will post some updates on what has been going on with us. The short version is that Cole is INSANLY BUSY! And Brandon has been working a ton so I have way too many things half done, and the blog is way down on the list of things to do.

Happy Birthday Julia!

My sweet little girl turned 4!! I can't believe it. Her actual birthday was Feb. 28th, I'm a little slow with the birthday post!

This is the first birthday that I'm really amazed how old she is. It has been 4 years since she was born and I just can't believe it sometimes. Just one more year until she starts kindergarden...I'm not ready yet!! (ok, maybe sometimes I am!) Julia is a very sweet, caring little girl. She is an awesome big sister and Cole adores her! I see him trying to copy her all the time and it's the cutest thing. She is very honest and can be sensitive at times. She has always been a tough, and somewhat wild girl, but I can see her sweet sensitve side more and more as she grows up. My favorite thing is just to take her, just about anywhere, and hang out. I love the conversations we can have, and just how much she loves life and her family. We are blessed with a great little girl! (don't tell her she's a little girl...only big girls around here!)

Hair cuts

First of all sorry it's been soooo long since I have posted. I have been busy, and generally not interesting in blogging. Some people love to blog, I don't! But I do enjoy reading blogs and l like to keep friends and family updated on our lives so I do my best with this blogging thing!

Back to the hair cuts. Cole is getting his first real hair cute today! Sad, but much needed. We just need a good clean up hair cut so I can keep up on maintenance...hopefully! I told Brandon, I bet we are buzzing it come summer...we'll see!

Second...Julia cut her OWN hair! So I was looking in her doll house the other day, and I saw something behind the little bed. I thought it was doll hair until I looked closer. "Julia is this your hair?!? Yes mommy. Did you cut your hair tonight!?!...No mommy, no. (huh?) I cut it the other day!" Seriously! How did I miss that one! Oh well, lucky for us it is kind-of right in the middle of her head where I tend to put a ponytail. So now her ponytail just sticks up a little more. I totally thought I had it instilled in her head that 'only Heather cuts your hair.' She even told me that when I was trying to trim her hair once. Oh well, I guess it can really happen to anyone!

That long section of hair on her bed is how long the rest of that sticking up hair should be!
