Sleeping dogs?!? Even princesses play dog sometimes!

Love this girl! Her expressions are awesome!

Dance routines on 'stage.'

Wiped out watching Tinkerbell, nice end to a tea party!
So I actually made three Hello Kitty cakes. One practice one because I didn't trust myself, one big one for the family party and one for Julia's tea party. No more cake for a while!

Awesome bling, bling on the capris!

This is the cutest book! La De Da shoes!

Julia's birthday pictures

Sorry I'm so late on getting these up. This month is going to be a little insane for us, I have way too many things on my calender and I'm 8 months pregnant, figures!

We had a fun family birthday party on Julia's actual birthday! How often does that happen?!? It was obviously a Hello Kitty theme. She had a blast, thanks everyone for coming!!

The spread!

We got her a leapster for Christmas this year...(it has been awesome for quiet times, if anyone has been contemplating something like it. We highly recommend it!)...so anyways here she is getting a new game.

Her new soccer shin guards, little does she know why she will soon need them!

Trying on the new duds after the party! Cute poncho and shin guards, what a look!

Julia's 5!

My little girl turned 5 today! Wow, she is seriously growing up so much. Some days I look at her and tell her you look older...stop growing up! She just laughs at me, I love that she can understand jokes and teasing. She is out to breakfast with her daddy, I think this is a wonderful tradition he is starting because Brandon LOVES to go out to breakfast, and Julia loves to hang out with her daddy. She came down this morning hopped in bed with him and the first question out our her mouth was, "daddy can we go to breakfast now?" That's his girl!

Julia is a sweetie, with lots of spunk! She is getting more girly as she gets older, but can still keep up with the boys. Her teacher says she is the type of girl that will be friends with everyone, not just one clique. She is easy going and loves her friends! She loves her brother, and loves teaching him lots of things...when he will listen that is! I was just telling Julia the other day how God made her very cheerful. She is rarely sad, or mad. Even if her brother hurts her, she moves on quickly and doesn't hold a grudge...(i hope that lasts, such a wonderful quality). It's hard to believe she will be in Kindegarden. I told Brandon please don't make me send her on the bus. I can handle her going to school as long as I can still drive her! We are blessed everyday with Julia and her spirit. Love that girl!!

Who's kids are these?

These can't be my kids I would never let them dress like this right? Oh, wait I was in my sweats when I took the picture. I guess we are all happy and that's what matters!! Some day I hope to get some Christmas pictures on here, but don't hold your breath. This pregnant momma doesn't have much motivation lately!

Christmas picture and letter 2009

We have sent out a Christmas letter and picture i think every year we have been married and here is this years.

Christmas 2009
It seems that the years are getting shorter and time goes by faster. Another Christmas season is here.

Cole is 2 and is starting to talk, some days he just doesn’t stop talking. He doesn’t know the meaning of “idle”. If you look closely in the picture you may notice his red nose. This was earned by a face plant last night at church. This year he also decided to climb in the car while Heidi was vacuuming it and check out the cigarette lighter with his finger. He definitely keeps life exciting!!

Julia is in Pre School this year at Mt. Hood Christian School. She loves her teacher and her classmates, and is always excited to go. (After we force her to get out of bed, that is) She has class 2 days a week for ½ a day. It is also a good break for Cole to get some one on one time with Heidi. It is hard to believe she will be in Kindergarten next year. She informed the other that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. We think she would be a good one; she always looks after her brother and helps him learn things.

We went to San Diego in July for Heidi’s cousin’s wedding. Julia was a flower girl and well, Cole; we got a babysitter for him. Uncle Steve went with us to Sea World one day and the rest of the time we relaxed with family. Brandon also squeezed in a Padres game with some pretty amazing seats, thanks to Jim and Shelley.

We started our own little farm and are growing a variety of trees on about 5 acres. It is plenty to keep Brandon busy on his days off. Brandon still really enjoys working on the farm and has fun learning new things all the time.

Heidi stays busy sewing things, and chasing our kids around during the day. She also is in charge of decorating for “Mom to Mom” at our church, which is a monthly event.

In April 2010 Heidi and I will be “outnumbered” with the arrival of our 3rd child. This one’s supposed to be another boy. We are excited, and so are the kids and Grandparents. God has truly blessed us with wonderful children.

God bless you and Merry Christmas,
The Schmidts
